From Anatolia and the southeast, these pestamels are made by the few remaining families still weaving by hand on shuttled looms.  Lightweight and thin, they display the traditional baklava pattern, are made only with natural fibers and dyes, and increase in softness and absorbency over time.

Customer note: Prior to first use towels should be soaked in cold water for 12 hours, as pure cotton does not initially retain water by nature but acclimates to become absorbent.
